Tigers Win, You Win! Refund Event Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter and Eligibility
This promotion is offered by BOSS Services, located at 2188 M 139, Benton Harbor, Michigan (the “Promoter” or “we/us”). The promotion is open only to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is higher) at the time of purchase. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children) of the Promoter, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, or any other entities involved in the administration of this promotion are not eligible.
2. Promotional Period
The promotion is valid for qualifying purchases made between March 1, 2026, and April 30, 2026 (the “Promotional Period”). Both the sale and full installation of the qualifying HVAC system must be completed, and payment must be received in full by the Promoter, no later than April 30, 2026. Purchases initiated but not fully installed and paid by this date do not qualify.
3. Qualifying Purchases
To be eligible, the customer must purchase and have installed an American Standard complete furnace and air conditioner system or American Standard complete heat pump and air handler system. The Promoter reserves the right to limit the number of promotions per household or customer.
This promotion applies only to new installations for residential customers. Commercial installations, replacements of partial systems, standalone furnaces or air conditioners, or add-ons are not eligible.
4. Refund Contingency
If (and only if) the Detroit Tigers win the 2026 MLB World Series (as officially determined by Major League Baseball as the World Series champion following the conclusion of the final game), eligible customers will receive a full refund of the qualifying amounts paid (see Section 5).
-The Tigers must be declared the official winner of the 2026 World Series.
-If the Tigers do not win the 2026 World Series (including in the event of a loss in the World Series, no participation in the World Series, or any other outcome), no refund will be issued under this promotion. Determination of the winner is final and binding, based solely on official MLB announcements. No disputes regarding game outcomes, rules, or officiating will be entertained.
5. Refund Amount and What It Includes
The refund, if triggered, will cover:
-The full cost of the qualifying HVAC equipment (furnace and air conditioner) & installation.
The refund does NOT include (and will not be issued for):
-Accessories, indoor air quality (IAQ) products, or add-on components.
-Electrical upgrades or modifications.
-Ductwork modifications, repairs, or replacements.
-Maintenance plans or service contracts.
-Taxes, delivery fees, or any other incidental charges.
-Any other costs not directly listed above as qualifying.
Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment (e.g., check, credit to original payment method) within 30 days after official confirmation of the Tigers’ World Series victory. Processing may take additional time depending on payment method.
6. How to Participate and Claim
–Purchase a qualifying system during the Promotional Period.
-Ensure installation and full payment are completed by April 30, 2026.
-No additional claim form is required; eligible customers will be automatically considered if the contingency is met.
-The Promoter will contact qualifying customers via email, phone, or mail using the contact information provided at purchase to process any refund. Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information.
7. General Conditions
-This promotion is non-transferable, has no cash value (except as a refund if triggered), and cannot be redeemed for cash or credit in lieu of the refund.
-This promotion cannot be combined with any other discounts, rebates, specials, or promotions unless explicitly stated in writing by the Promoter.
-The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion at any time without notice if, in its sole discretion, it determines the promotion cannot be conducted as planned (e.g., due to force majeure, technical issues, or regulatory requirements).
-In the event of a dispute regarding eligibility or refund entitlement, the Promoter’s records and decisions are final and binding.
-The Promoter is not responsible for delays, losses, or failures in installation, payment processing, or refund issuance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
-All federal, state, and local taxes (if any) on any refund are the sole responsibility of the customer.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to this promotion, including but not limited to loss of use, data, or profits, even if advised of the possibility thereof. The Promoter makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the qualifying systems beyond those provided in the standard equipment and installation warranties.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Berrien County, Michigan.
